By accessing or using our website, booking a domestic trip, or utilizing any of our travel services within Egypt, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. Scope of Services

Elbagoushy Tours operates as a travel agency based in Egypt, providing domestic travel services including, but not limited to:

• Guided tours and excursions within Egyptian governorates and attractions.
• Transportation and transfer arrangements.
• Hotel, resort, and accommodation bookings.
• Customized itinerary planning for individuals and groups.

2. Bookings and Confirmations

• Inquiry vs. Confirmation: Submitting a request or inquiry via the website or WhatsApp does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is considered confirmed only after receiving a written confirmation (via email or WhatsApp) and the required deposit/payment.
• Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for ensuring all details provided during booking (names, contact info, dates, number of travelers, national ID/passport details) are accurate. Elbagoushy Tours is not liable for errors resulting from incorrect information supplied by the customer.

3. Prices and Payments

• Currency & Pricing: All prices listed on the site or quoted in offer letters are in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) unless specified otherwise. Prices include applicable taxes and service charges unless explicitly stated as excluded.
• Price Changes: Prices are subject to adjustment in the event of major economic changes, government fee increases, or sudden price spikes from third-party suppliers (e.g., fuel, entry tickets). Any price change will be communicated before final booking confirmation.
• Payment Schedule:
  • A deposit (the percentage depends on the trip type) is required to secure your reservation.
  • The remaining balance must be paid prior to departure or on the day of the trip, as specified in your booking confirmation.
• Payment Methods: We accept online payments via certified gateways, bank transfers, e-wallets, or cash payments.

4. Cancellations, Amendments, and Refunds

A. Cancellations by the Customer

If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing (via email or official WhatsApp). Cancellation fees apply based on the timeframe before trip departure:

• 14+ days prior to departure: Full refund (minus administrative or banking transaction fees).
• 7 to 13 days prior to departure: 50% refund of the total trip cost.
• Less than 7 days prior to departure: Non-refundable.

Note: Specific hotel or non-refundable tickets (e.g., specific event or attraction permits) may be subject to stricter cancellation terms set by third-party suppliers.

B. Amendments by the Customer

Requests to change travel dates, number of guests, or itineraries are subject to availability and potential price adjustments.

C. Cancellations or Alterations by Elbagoushy Tours

We reserve the right to modify or cancel itineraries due to:

• Unforeseen weather conditions, natural events, or security advisories.
• Government restrictions or closures of historical sites/attractions.
• Failure to meet the minimum required group size for shared group trips.

In the event of a cancellation on our part, you will be offered an alternative date/trip or a full refund of the amount paid.

5. Customer Responsibilities and Conduct

• Identification & Documentation: All Egyptian citizens must carry a valid National ID, and foreign nationals must carry a valid Passport and Egyptian entry visa (if applicable). Certain border governorates or restricted areas may require additional permits, which guests must provide accurate data for in advance.
• Punctuality: Guests must adhere to scheduled pickup times and meeting points. Delays caused by the customer may lead to missed itinerary items without refund or compensation.
• Behavior: Guests are expected to maintain respectful behavior towards staff, guides, drivers, local communities, and other travelers. We reserve the right to terminate the service of any individual whose conduct is deemed disruptive, offensive, or hazardous, without refund.
• Compliance with Laws: Customers must comply with all local laws, cultural customs, and safety regulations of Egypt.

6. Health, Medical Conditions, and Safety

• Customers are required to inform us of any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or mobility limitations prior to booking.
• Certain activities (e.g., desert safaris, diving, hiking, water sports) carry inherent risks. Participation is at your own discretion and risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Third-Party Suppliers: Elbagoushy Tours acts as an agent/organizer for third-party service providers (hotels, transport companies, local operators). While we select reputable partners, we are not directly liable for injury, loss, delay, or damage caused by these third parties.
• Loss or Damage: We are not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings (bags, electronics, valuables) during trips. Guests are encouraged to safeguard their items at all times.
• Force Majeure: Elbagoushy Tours is not liable for failures or delays in performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, civil unrest, strikes, extreme weather, or pandemics.

8. Website Intellectual Property

All content on https://elbagoushytours.com/—including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design—is the property of Elbagoushy Tours and protected by Egyptian and international intellectual property laws. Reproduction or distribution without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
